I used to run regular pump gas with 10% ethanol, and I constantly battled clogged carbs and gummy fuel lines. Switching to ethanol-free gas was a game-changer.
My motor starts quicker, idles smoother, and I don’t worry about ethanol attracting water into the tank. It costs more, but it’s worth it for reliability.
If I have no choice, I always use a stabilizer with pump gas — but ethanol-free is my go-to whenever I can find it.
