I’ve experimented with different 2-stroke oils, and not all are created equal. The one I trust now is a TC-W3 certified marine oil. It burns cleaner, smokes less, and keeps my plugs from fouling up.
I buy it in gallons and pre-mix it into my gas tank. My motor has run smoother, and I feel better knowing it’s designed for marine use. If you’re running cheap oil, the difference is night and day.
